Baby Marilyn {Portland Newborn Photographer}

Michelle and Jason are our dearest friends. In fact, Michelle has been my best friend since college. So when she told me she was pregnant, I was thrilled! I am so excited to be Marilyn’s auntie.

Congratulations to the both of you! We love you guys!!!

These photos were taken right after Marilyn was born. I was so honored to be asked to be present at Michelle’s home birth. Yes, I said HOME BIRTH! Michelle is a very brave woman. Michelle’s mother is also below holding her first grandchild for the very first time.
I love how their expressions mirror one another. So cute!

Marilyn is about 3 weeks old in these photos. She is so attentive and bright-eyed already. She is such a beautiful baby girl!

We are so excited for Crystal and Ryan’s wedding this summer, and hopefully, we will have more sunshine than we did during their engagement shoot. Kristina and Ryan {Silcox Hut / Timberline Lodge Wedding Photographers}

The day started at Timberline Lodge with a bumpy, snowy trek up to Silcox Hut aboard the Snow-Cat. Kristina and Ryan’s wedding was an intimate affair with their closest friends and family members. We were extra lucky this day to work along side our friend & wedding officiant, Reverend Steve Sharp from A Beautiful Ceremony. He always does a wonderful job!

Baby Justus {Portland Baby Photographers}

My younger brother Jason and his beautiful wife Alyse were blessed with their first born last summer . . . a gorgeous baby boy. Baby Justus is about 6 months old now. Rebecca and I met him for the first time over the Holidays. And for all of you Duck fans out there, I’m proud to say that Jason played for the University of Oregon (GO DUCKS!). He played defensive end as a true freshman and trust me when I say, HE WAS REALLY GOOD!!! Alyse graduated from USC and so they’re constantly at war with one another…just kidding. Maybe someday Justus will follow in his daddy’s footsteps and play football too.
